I'd suggest a shaft/blade combo if you're going through blades quickly.

The TPS Rubber CSR shafts that hockeygiant is selling for 43 bucks are pretty nice, and lighter than I expected. They're tapered, too. Not long ago, the Monkey had some nice pro stock mission blades for about 15 bucks. It'd be a bit over 50 bucks, but may last you a while. Great combo for the money, IMO.

Agree 100%. A pricepoint composite isnt going to solve anything, most of them are junk. Especially at the $50 range. I responded to your message syko but before i read that you had tried wood blades. Abs blades work perfectly (ccm low end vectors). They look composite but are actually a sort of plastic polymer, just ask your lhs if they have any abs blades and mention there the type you would use for outdoor, anytime i play indoors i wont use anything else, plus if you want to take your stick outdoors to the asphalt or even rocks and gravel, there fine. I use mine in gravel all the time and its great, montreal brand blade.

Mission V-Hex at Philricks - pay the added 15 bucks (65 on sale)...

http://hockey.philbricks.net/browse.cfm/cl...ick/4,9964.html

Or better yet, spend the added 20 and get an TPS XN-10 (70 on sale)...

p://www.hockeyworld.com/prodHome.ihtml?catID=227&pid=3156&shop=0

It will be the best 20 bucks you'll ever spend.

That like the price of 2 pick up games right?

Buy a shaft and buy an abs blade. Not only is it a hell of an indoor stick, if you need to use it for outdoor its very do-able. Any of my old broken sticks with enough shaft left get flipped and have an abs blade inserted. They work great and the blades seem to last awhile, there not really ice worthy at my level but since your still in a junior you could probably do it no problem.

is the warrior royale a good stick? also how long is it because i noticed my warrior syko was about a good 2 inches shorter than my rbk 7k although they are both junior sticks.

Go for a closeout, its going to be 100x better then any price point stick. I had a shogun which was garbage, pure trash. It wasnt even fit to be my street hockey stick.

and if ya dont wanna go to a lhs and you dont have a heat gun you can always use your good ol stove...sometimes the shaft blade combos are better then ops

Or if you have a girlfriend you can steal her hair dryer, its what I do.

I just switched from ops to a two piece and I really don't notice that much of a difference. I'm using a Pro Stock dolomite and Easton Elite blade.
