whbd18 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2007 Im guessing yes because the concept x is in the same grade as the one 70 i think the concept x might have alot of the same features as the pulse. What does the Concept X being in the same grade as the NB One70 have anything to do with it being similar to the Mission Pulse? Also Hockeyfreak the Pulse is different than the Concept X. The Concept has Zedcore in the blade which all low-end Mission sticks do.Also im sure the Pulseis a better made stick then the Concept. Slapshot25 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2007 I have the Pulse and it is a great stick. like Whbd18 said the Concept X does has a zedcore insert different from the VDS tech. The one setback after a year i had with the pulse is that it cracked right down the middle of the blade (vertically) I have no idea whether the Concept X does that but either way.... mikeo 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2007 See if I can help here. The Concept X stick is COMPLETELY different than Pulse (VDS) and Z-Core. Different vendors, different blade technologies. The Concept X blade uses a different type of foam core that gives both a good feel and durability. I would say the stick falls somewhere between price point and premium. The Concept X stick is our second "Statement" stick and we wanted to upgrade the product from the Pink stick. Blame Justin!

The Concept X stick is our second "Statement" stick and we wanted to upgrade the product from the Pink stick. Blame Justin!"The DetailsThe Concept X features Missions's new ZedCore blade insert which helps the Concept X blade to retain its consistency shot after shot without going soft. As a side benefit, the ZedCore improves puck feel - especially over the ABS core blades that tend to be in this price range. We found the stick to be less ''pingy'' than most one piece sticks - having a puck feel that is more like wood. The shaft is a full composite constant flex shaft. This shaft lowers the kickpoint to deliver more accurate and powerful shots that you would think possible with a stick in this price range. If you've got the desire to step your game up with a new One Piece Composite stick, but don't want break the bank, the Concept X is an awesome choice." this is the explanation of it from E-Puck so i dont know if this is correct or if is is false info

Drewhunz 3 Report post Posted February 16, 2007 Gotta make sure the end of the shaft is pierced. Hey, instead of a grip version, how about an extremely thin TackiMac grip condom?Go after the RBK 9KO and call it the Mission Glory Hole.
