I own a pair of MB33 (custom made for Rico Fata when he was on the Thrashers). im 90 percent sure they are 13 inch tufftex with double leather palms. im just curious what the best material is and what palm to get. also i would like some imput on what other people think of their MIA gloves?

for the palms, it depends what you're looking for. Durability? Feel?

I've got a pair of MIA with tufftek. It's a great material, very light. However, it does get dirty very easily and I have noticed a hole due to the stitching coming loose. This problem was readily fixed by my LHS though. I'm probably going to get another, and I'm going to go with the Carbon. I know someone owns a got a pair of MIA for as long as me with carbon, and it still looks brand new.

For the palms, I have the Kangaroo goat. I highly recommend these palms. Very, very nice feel and very durable too. I don't have a single sign of a hole forming.

Not to hijack this thread, but a related question. For those that have / use MIA gloves, do they seem to fit super loose around the wrist area? I have a new pair of 14" (MB22 I think) that I have yet to use. I have a a lot of room in the finger and wrist area compared to my TPS HGTs and Easton pro stocks - it's almost as though if I held my hands open by my side, the gloves would fall off. Is this the way these gloves are designed to fit? I would say I have average sized hands but skinnish / shortish fingers.

Also, the palm I got is a bright yellow color. Is that the kangaroo?

If you go on miasports.com and go to the glove customizer the first page asks which model you want and there is one you can pick that is supposed to be for a narrower hand I think its mb11 or 12 or something and also if you go ahead a few pages to where you choose the palm there is pictures of each one so you could compare with yours and figure it out.

Micronash is a bit thinner than regular nash and it's pretty good quality/price, it last long. If you want something really soft and thin with an incredible feel, I'd suggest you Yellow mustang but it's not the best for durability. I you choose yellow mustang, ask for another material for the gussets (something like micronash).

what kinda of tape do you use to tape the end of your stick? i know some tape is worse than other for the palms

This is the yellow mustang. They may stretch out a bit in the gussets area.
