Hi guys,

I noticed that there is frequently a lot of discussion about what sticks NHL players use (brand, etc).

Well, there is currently an auction sponsored by the NHL alumni association. They are auctioning all the sticks used by NHL players in the last regular season game.

It's kind of cool because you can see what sticks everyone is using. So far, the teams up for auction are Canadiens, Kings, Leafs, Capitals, Penguins, and Blue Jackets.

If you can't find the site, you can also go to www.nhl.com, click on Auctions on the left handside and then click on NHL Alumni under the list of partners.

I was surprised to see Kyle Wellwood's Koho Torpedo stick for auction. I thought he was trying to save them because they're not made anymore!

Bonk is using a Ballistik!! :o I thought those sucked..

They have a few pros using the product now. They're trying to grow and the NHL is the best place to get exposure so it makes sense to pay some guys to use the stuff.
