Every time that I step onto the ice, I think about my brother Brian. He passed away a little over a year ago while playing in an adult hockey league. Not a day passes where I don't think of my little brother. When I'm on the ice, I always have a feeling that he's nearby and watching over me. I wear a number 8 on the back of my helmet; some might think that perhaps I'm a big Ovechkin fan; but, I wear the number 8 because that was my brother's number and I truly miss him...
