Athletic Knit Jersey Sizing Help

Hello guys

I'm a long time reader of this forum and i know you know a lot about hockey gear so I figured you might be the right ones to help me.

My team is getting AK jerseys, but as we are from Europe we have no possibility to try them on. I did some research and found some threads in this forum saying they run a little bit bigger than the traditional CCM jerseys.

I can only compare the to a Warrior Practice Jersey (XL), a NY Rangers Winter Classic jersey (XL), a Red Wings Winter Classic jersey (XL) and a CCM Red Wing jersey (52) which basically fit the same.

Do the AK jersey run bigger than these jerseys and how is the general fit? And is there a big gap between L and XL? As we have 3 guys on our team which are about 5'6" who aren't sure which size to take (as a little looser is safer choice than too tight)

In my experience ordering AK's a few times they run a size bigger than your normal set. However check w/ the vendor. Also what set are you getting, the new beer league set might be sized different.

Thanks for your help. Measured the jerseys and they are between L and XL so I think XL is the safer choice.

We are getting Pro Series Toronto Jerseys.
