XR5 vs X70R

I have xr5 and their great. Was thinking about getting another pair but saw the x70r are slightly more $ and was wondering how much better they really are and what the sizing means when the x70r are all R by it and the xr5 are EE or D. I have 10.5 D I believe in the xr5's.

The X70R is a lower end skate compared to the Xr5. Only reason the price is close is because the Xr5 is on markdown. If you were looking at something that would be similar look at the X90.

Yea but if I'm gonna spend around 500 I should get the apxr right

Depends on what you are looking for. If you want something that is going to perform like your Xr5 boots now the X70 will not be that skate. The X90 would be your replacement for the Xr5. If you are looking to upgrade the Apxr would be that skate. When you are comparing previous model gear to current you don't want to group them together by price.
