Just picked up a Pro stock CL. Its a Drew Stafford. I really like it and the curve.

Of course when I went back to get a couple more - gone.

Any one know what a comparable retail curve is? I was thinking backstrom but its much more closed.

Nope, I have a friend close by who works in manufacturing the sticks. I get some of the cast offs etc that are lying around. I've had 3 U+CL and a Reebok 808 O-Tech before these current sticks. The Reebok had a broken bade so he put the same curve as my CCM on it before he gave it to me.

Any help with this code the stick say h11 85 t on the stick but thats the manufacturers info from the inside. its an ai9

H11 is the pattern, 85 flex, T is for traditional shaft dimension.

Yea I figured that part out. Its the longer codes that I can't decipher. Also I have another of the same stick with a slightly different code on the inside.

Hey guys, recently was given an RBZ prostock...or at least it is's painted as such, trying to find out more info on it. Figured out some of it based on stuff you guys have posted and the info on the prostockhockey ccm customizer. I love the stick, so I'm just trying to find out as much info as I can about it. The code on it reads:

85-Flex I assume
T -Shaft shape...traditional?

V01
FC - Fused Constant flex profile

It's just those other ones i can't figure out, or find stuff to compare them to.

Now I'm familiar with everything but the RIM code. The shaft in the taper area has "pleats" or grooves embedded in the shaft, kind of similar to the warrior Kronik's lower shaft where it has the indents. If anyone has any idea what this is it would be great to know.

I will try to get a pic up to help describe what my words likely failed to do.

It's the new Ribcore stick that Reebok is making, if you search for Ribcore you will see more information on it in the Gear Sightings thread.

Normally CCM/Reebok has a barcode sticker at the top of the stick with the stick info. We sold a Groulx RBZ prostock that was the FC flex profile and the barcode sticker said DANNY GROULX RBZ, pretty easy for me to know what it was. Also the RBZ blade if you flick or tape it has a ping to hollow sound and feel to it. You can test that way too but obviously not 100%.
